I’m a stay-at-home mother and wife, permanently disabled physicist, former professor of physics, and active member of the Foundation for Science and Disability. I occasionally write opinion pieces for Sci on the Fly, Physics Today, and the Times Higher Education. I’m also an interviewee with the Center for Oral History for a three-year project to document the lives and contributions of people with disabilities who worked in STEM. I’m available for public talks about women in science and science and disability, moderating or participating in STEM panels, small consulting gigs that focus on integrating art and/or service into STEM curricula, and helping individuals leave academia and toxic work environments.
